I will actually be traveling on Christmas Day this year (shocker), but I am really excited because this is the first Christmas that I am spending away from home. I will miss my mom and seeing my family. But – I see most of my family all throughout the year.
I thought running away to Jamaica with my husband was more a more special and unique way to spend Christmas – especially because he misses out on most of my travels during his busy season. Christmas is not about present and food anyway, it’s remembering the birth of Christ and what he has done for us – and traveling is when I feel that love and admiration the most.
