The Virginian Hotel
The Virginian Hotel was kind enough to host us for a weekend of fun! The room we had was GORGEOUS and it would be the perfect local romantic getaway OR fun girls weekend! It is a truly beautiful space & the quality and luxury speaks for itself as soon as you enter the lobby.
I could have locked myself away in this room for a week to both relax & focus on myself and get work done. The giant bath tub was (of course) the best part, but the living area and king size bed were also a huge plus. They did a great job at making it both intimate and spacious at the same time.
The Virginian Hotel has 3 dining options on site, including a ROOFTOP Bar & Restaurant. The sunset from the roof was breathtaking (see below). We enjoyed dinner & champagne at Skyline, which is the name of the restaurant. The Skyline Grill is open to the public – so even if you don’t stay at The Virginian Hotel but happen to be in Lynchburg, you can still enjoy it!
In addition to The Skyline Grill, The Virginian Hotel is also home to William & Henry, a stunning steakhouse. Sadly, they are closed on Sunday which is when we wanted to have dinner there so I didn’t get to experience it. But the layout if beautiful. The last dining option at The Virginian Hotel is Marigold – an adorable coffee & sandwich shop.
The staff at the front desk was very helpful every time we needed something. They even use a texting system so we could instantly communicate to let them know if we needed something, such as an extra bottle of champagne or a luggage cart to be brought to our room!
I highly recommend The Virginian Hotel to anyone looking for a local getaway or even a large event. The Virginian Hotel is a destination in itself. I didn’t even explore the city of Lynchburg because the hotel had everything we needed for a fun & relaxing stay.
A special thank you to The Virginian Hotel sales & marketing department for hosting us and allowing us to enjoy our experience there. And thank you to all of the girls & photographers who helped us out. Follow along on Facebook or Instagram for more 2020 adventures & experiences.
Until next time,
