The Best Affordable Photography Equipment
As someone who documents a large portion of my life for part of my “living”… cameras and photography are a pretty big deal. However, I don’t think you have to be a blogger to appreciate a good photo. We all love taking pictures of our lives and sharing them with the world. Soon enough, I plan on sharing a post about how I edit my photos. But until then, here is my favorite, ride-or-die, affordable photography equipment:
1.
GoPro
This is probably my absolute favorite camera, because it is so versatile. The GoPro takes extremely high-quality photos. And, I love it because it’s small enough to fit in your purse (or even pocket for guys). Plus, it has so many possible attachments that can make it super-duper water-proof selfie-stick!

2.
“Shorty” Tripod and Extender
Definitely note that when you buy a GoPro, you are only buying the camera. There will be no base or pole that comes with it. I chose to go with the “Shorty” tripod and extender because it has the best of both worlds. If extends up and down (like a selfie-stick). And, the handle part can fold out and act as a tripod.
3.
Nikon D3400
Buying this camera was the best thing I ever did for myself. The Nikon D3400 is such a good all-around DLSR camera. It is very easy to understand and operate. Of course, it does TONS of things that I haven’t quite figured out yet. But the basics are extremely easy to understand.

4.
Tripod for Camera
I highly suggest getting a tripod, regardless of your photography skills. This one is from Amazon and it’s under $20. It’s a great tool to just keep in your car, because you never know when you might pass a good photo opportunity! 🙂

5.
Selfie Ring Light
Ok, this is something we can all use. It might look a little bit extra (and it is), BUT it is actually so useful. You clip the light onto your phone (like a old-school book-light) and it’s ultra white light makes the lighting look SO much better in your photos!

Camera Backpack
I literally just purchased this backpack and haven’t actually used it yet. But I plan on taking it as my “personal item” on my next trip. I like it because it has a safe storage compartment for my camera, a special padded slot for my laptop, and extra room for cords, chargers, and other personal items.
Conclusions
I hope you enjoyed my round-up of “The Best Affordable Photography Equipment.” I use each and every one of these items, and truly love and endorse them! Photography is so fun to play with, so I encourage you to try some different tools and methods. If you have any questions about them, please ask!
You can view my photography very easily on Instagram and follow along through my upcoming adventures!
Until next time,
